MiSTer Multisystem Case & I/O Board Released

RMC has just launched a case and I/O board for the MiSTer FPGA project they’re calling the “MiSTer Multisystem”, that’s due to ship in about two months.  A kit with everything except the DE-10 Nano is about $300, a fully loaded kit that includes the DE-10 is $615 and there’s plenty of color choices & options as well.

As someone who’s a huge fan of the MiSTer project, I’m happy to see unique enclosure choices that offer different options and features.  I’ll soon start work on a video highlighting all the features of each, but so far it’s looking like they all perform really well.  If you’re looking to purchase now, simply pick one with the features that fits your setup – Even if something more appealing to you comes out soon, the expensive core components (DE-10, RAM, MicroSD) and software configuration can all be easily transferred to a new case, so any MiSTer setup should be a pretty safe investment.
