I really like “official reprints” like this one, as it solves so many problems. First, Retro Bit has a recent history of selling high quality cartridges that are made exactly to spec and safe to use. That alone should be enough motivation to choose this over some low-quality eBay repro…or worse.
Also, they allow collectors to have an “official” version of the game at a fair price. While sure, you can buy the emulated Switch version, or try and find the rom, that’s not who this is for: These releases are for collectors who want a real, physical edition that they feel safe playing.
