Genesis Mini Lag Testing

There’s already an overwhelming amount of reviews floating around for the new Sega Genesis Mini emulation console, so rather than follow the herd, I thought I’d concentrate on one aspect of the experience that not many others have covered:  Lag.  I go through both audio lag, as well as overall emulation lag compared to an original console.  Of course, I use a CRT, a Time Sleuth and a 960fps slow-motion camera to calculate solid measurements and give people an idea of what to expect.

As expected, it’s a typical “emulation box”, which some people might be happy with, others not so much.  I’m still thrilled I bought it though, as the 3-button controllers work perfect with MiSTer and the Mini itself is an awesome looking console!  Defintely the best looking of all the “Mini’s”!  Check out the full review on YouTube (above), LBRY and Bitchute (below):
