Mike Chi has just released the fifth batch of RetroTINK 5x’s and – I can’t believe I’m actually typing this – Even in the midst of a global part shortage, he was able to get quite a bit this time…and they’re STILL in stock!!! Above is a deep-dive video showcasing all the launch day features; All the basics that contain everything you’ll need to know are in the first six minutes, but after that I go over all the awesome things this upscaler…and DOWNscaler can do! Please note that there’s been many firmware updates since this review aired and each update added some amazing new features! There’s now true CRT-like scanlines, a smoothing filter that helps with 3D graphics and tons more. All the basics still apply though, so the above video is still relevant, other than the new features!
