MK+ developer Drew just posted an interesting video discussing how collision detection works in the arcade version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. If you’re a programmer, or someone who works on arcade romhacks, this is a must-watch…but I honestly think it’s great for fans of the game as well. While it does get a bit technical, it was very cool to see exactly what’s going on in the game when you land a hit and the visual examples are a great way to absorb it all.

They’re more like “rebuilds” of the games than “romhacks” and add so much cool stuff!
