Fixel has just announced added support for the PSX’s hard drive to his upcoming IDE emulator (think ODE, but for all IDE devices). As a note, I’m not referring to the original PS1 – The ‘PSX’ was a Japan-only PlayStation 2 that also included DVR functionality and was the first Sony device to use the XMB GUI – An awesome collectors item! This is an important addition, as it can allow junk PSX’s with dead hard drives to be brought back to life!
Pre-Order the IDE Emulator: https://3do.dev/products/ide-emulator-batch1

The IDE emulator is still scheduled to arrive before summer and we’ll keep everyone in the loop of changes or more features added!
As of today the new #IDE emulator firmware supports custom #PS2 #PSX #DVR HDD command set emulation. You can finally recover full functionality of your dead #PSX. Preorders : https://t.co/XXgrp32ZlX
