Jacob Proctor has released an open-source PCB schematic for a Playstation 1, 2, and 3 audio-video breakout board. It supports RGBS, Component, Composite, S-video, stereo audio, and obviously is zero lag. Users can decide if they’d like to use RCA or BNC jacks, or a VGA breakout (like MiSTer’s IO Board), and it can do dual output because both signals are accessible at the same time. In other words, the signal wouldn’t be split.
Update: The open-source schematic has been released on Github
The PSX Breakout board is now released! I will be ordering some boards to test sometime next week. The BOM is unfinished but I should be able to finish that off today or this weekend. Also includes a PCB case (snaps in half to form top and bottom)https://t.co/r3QWQeceke pic.twitter.com/5B3HnDRdjC
