New Publication Released on the Engine Optimizations Found in Doom 32x Resurrection

By now a lot of you should (I hope) have played the fantastic new port of Doom for the 32x by Victor Luchitz.  The port is one of the few games on the system to make use of the 32x’s two SH2 processors.   To accompany the latest v2.2 update of the game Vic has published a short paper discussing the renderer, coding and platform optimizations made to the project.  It’s an entertaining read that’s well worth your time if you want to learn a bit about how the 32x does things!
