Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream gets English Translation

The Japanese Dreamcast game Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream has just been translated to English:  http://www.romhacking.net/translations/5091/

Napple Tale is a 2.5d “action adventure” game, that today seems crazy it wouldn’t be released outside of Japan.  I guess back in 2000 when it was released, the mainstream market was shifting more towards 3D role-playing games and the developers must not have thought it was worth translating.

Well, thanks to Cargodin and a team of translators, game hackers and graphics designers, as well as four dedicated playtesters, we’re now able to experience this game in English!  At the moment, the game is reported to be running smoothly and any remaining bugs don’t seem to be game-breaking…or really effect the game at all.

Not sure if Napple Tale is for you?  Check out the awesome overview posted by Jimmy Hapa a few years ago before this translation was made…and please don’t forget that if it weren’t for teams dedicating their time to translate these games and people like Jimmy making us aware they existed, they might be lost outside of Japan!  Please subscribe, support and help these projects when you can!
