Retro Gaming Cables now has stock of both their Sega Dreamcast Component Video cables, as well as the updated RGB SCART cable. Both are co-designed by RetroTINK creator Mike Chi and can switch between 480p and 240p/480i modes. While I really like the above solutions, not everyone might need it. If you’re just using a scaler or a VGA CRT monitor, you can probably get away with buying a cheap VGA cable and sticking with 480p-only games. You could also get a cheap HDMI cable, but know that they aren’t very good. I think they’re perfect for a backup, or temporary solution, but they’re nowhere near as good as proper solutions. And of course, die hard Dreamcast fans can always get an internal, digital-to-digital HDMI mod. Here’s some links and another video below:
