A secret in Doom 2 has just been discovered that up until now was actually thought to be a bug in the game! Apparently, the trick to getting this secret requires you to stand in the exact place necessary and let yourself get hit by an enemy to trigger the teleport sector. This was even confirmed by John Romero himself:
Secret explained: A secret teleporter is marked as a discoverable "secret", but when you touch it, you never enter the sector. So you would never get inside the teleporter sector to trigger the secret. The only way to trigger this secret is to be pushed by an enemy into it! #doom
