Tito’s Fully-Loaded PS2 Slim

Tito from Macho Nacho Productions recently released a video showcasing a PlayStation 2 Slim, with some awesome mods installed.  The Methylene internal bluetooth board allows you to use modern PlayStation controllers wirelessly.  You can even power your PS2 on and off with this kit and it’s compatible with both controller ports.  Then there’s the RetroGEM digital to digital HDMI kit.  And of course, the plug and play MemCard Pro2, which I truly think all PlayStation owners should consider.

While this build was very expensive, I think the biggest PS2 fans will want something similar.  There’s alternatives to everything of course, such as plug-and-play bluetooth and HDMI solutions, but that’s not the point of this build – This is the “ultimate” PS2, that aims to make it feel more like a modern console.  Of course, Tito could have also added a modchip, but with things like RetroNAS and homebrew loading solutions, that’s no longer something considered a necessity…although that would be cool to see too, for original disc users.
