Borti recently uploaded a firmware for his N64 Advanced project that ads a 3x 240p scale option to NTSC resolutions. The N64 Advanced is one of two Nintendo 64 boards created by Borti. The first is a more “basic” RGB board, that still offers features like hardware deblur options. The “advanced” is closer to something like an UltraHDMI and allows for component video and VGA output, as well as RGB. Both boards can be installed in any revision N64, allowing choices to fulfill almost everyone’s needs!
The lastest firmware can be downloaded on his GitHub here: https://github.com/borti4938/n64rgb/tree/master/advancedRGBmod/firmware
Update for the #N64Advanced project. I added LineX3 (pseudo 720p) for 240p60 input (i.e. not for PAL video). #N64 #N64RGB
Firmware can be downloaded on @github. Bug reports are very welcome.https://t.co/pVnhdoIzIO— Peter Bartmann (@borti4938) February 12, 2019
