Someone has started work on a project that replaces the NES front-loader’s power/RF board with one that’s much more useful to modern gamers! This board allows for integration of the NESRGB kit and different multi-out connectors. For me personally, the most interesting aspects of this project are the new power circuit (always helpful!) and the potential to have a no-cut RGB mod on a front-loading NES!!! This can be accomplished by adding a Framemeister-style-pin mini DIN connector where the RF output used to be and using the existing hole for access!
I’ll try and get one in for testing, but for now check out the main page: https://hackaday.io/project/26833-nes-power-entry-module-replacement
