The Behar Bros have just announced an updated version of their component to VGA / RGB SCART converter called the Garo. The updated version will address issues some people had with the previous version, as well as adding darker scanlines. According to Yosi:
“It’s totally redesigned by adding a dedicated video buffer and a new sync circuit. So its scanlines are more visible and intense. Also power stage is revised for more reliable operation. Nothing else left missing. All the components are now smd type. We will include a high quality AC adapter, and they will be shipped via DHL Express, which takes only 2 days for the USA.“
